Last week ended with the huge news out of Cannes that Sylvester Stallone would officially be returning in Rambo V, which is looking to shoot later this year and targeting a fall 2019 release, as this official Cannes sales art reveals.
Stallone is working on the script and *may* even direct, which would be exciting. Stallone directed the explosively bloody 2008 Rambo as well.
“In the fifth episode of franchise, when the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo, who has been working on a ranch, crosses the U.S.-Mexican border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.”
Millennium is launching sales on the project in Cannes.
