Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, who co-starred in Thor: Ragnarok, are leading the cast of director F. Gary Gray’s upcoming Men in Black reboot/spinoff, which is set to “build on the contemporary sci-fi world” that Agents K and J exist in.
We recently learned that the new film would be “global in scope,” and we’ve got more details today via Omega Underground as well as early art from Vegas’ Licensing Expo.
The new ‘MEN IN BLACK’ spin-off film will see Tessa Thompson’s Em try to prove herself by joining the London MIB and will be paired with Chris Hemworth’s Agent H. The pair will become involved in a murder mystery that will lead to them on a global journey.
Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald produce, with Steven Spielberg exec producing. Iron Man writers Matt Holloway and Art Marcum wrote the script.
Sony will release the new film on June 14, 2019.
