Chelsea Stardust Directing Grady Hendrix’s ‘Satanic Panic’ for Fangoria

Not only has Dallas Sonnier’s Cinestate revived Fangoria for an in-print relaunch that’ll begin this coming October, but the Fangoria brand will also have its own film imprint. Back in June we learned that Fango’s film shingle had acquired author Grady Hendrix’s (Paperbacks from Hell) spec Satanic Panic, and the feature film now has a director attached.

Deadline reports that Chelsea Stardust has been tapped to direct.

Satanic Panic is described as a dark comedy in a supernatural setting…

A pizza delivery girl at the end of her financial rope has to fight for her life — and her tips — when her last order of the night turns out to be high society Satanists in need of a virgin sacrifice.

Hendrix wrote the film with Ted Geoghegan (We Are Still Here).

Sonnier will produce with Aperture Entertainment’s Adam Goldworm and Cinestate’s Amanda Presmyk. Phil Nobile Jr. is on board to executive produce.
