Not only will the Toronto International Film Festival play host to the World Premiere of Halloween, but they’ll also be presenting Shane Black‘s hotly anticipated The Predator as the Midnight Madness opening night film!
In the sequel, “From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.”
In theaters September 14, 2018, the film stars Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Edward James Olmos, Alfie Allen and Yvonne Strahovski. Jake Busey plays the son of Gary Busey’s Predator 2 character.
The Predator will open wide the same weekend, September 14, 2018.
