Hailing out of Switzerland, we just scored a look at the trailer (no English subs, sorry) for Lisa Brühlmann‘s fantasy genre film Blue My Mind, which has been playing at festivals all year leading up to this month’s international release.
Dax reviewed the film earlier this year and said:
“Blue My Mind is a strange and exceptional debut with elements of body horror.”
The film follows a 15-year-old Mia who is facing an overwhelming transformation which calls her entire existence into question. Her body is changing radically, and despite desperate attempts to halt the process, she is soon forced to accept that nature is far more powerful than her.
It sounds as if the film, starring Luna Wedler, Zoë Pastelle Holthuizen, and Nicola Perot, is a coming-of-age body-horror tale that may or may not dip into Lovecraftian territory.
