Recently, Nicolas Cage had revealed that his character in Panos Cosmatos’ Mandy was partially inspired by Jason Voorhees, the film centered on Cage’s Red Miller seeking revenge on a sadistic cult in the 1980s. And yes, Cage picks up a chainsaw during that quest for revenge.
