As promised, the second official trailer for David Gordon Green’s Halloween has arrived this morning, highlighting the two main story threads that will be colliding in the sequel to John Carpenter’s original classic. In the first half of the trailer, we see Michael’s bloody return to Haddonfield. In the second, Laurie Strode prepares for the fight of her life.

Finally, the two clash once more in a battle they may not both survive.

“A British documentary crew comes to the States to visit Michael in prison for a retrospective of the maniac’s night of terror — but their project becomes way more interesting when Myers escapes custody, retrieves his signature mask and seeks revenge on Laurie, with others naturally being part of his impressive career body count along the way.
