Just a few weeks ago, I was searching Google for images from the release of Freddy vs. Jason. While there are a handful of really cool shots available, a ton are missing. I even went back to the now-defunct website to see if I could access them only to discover that they’re gone for good. In fact, I went so far as to reach out to New Line about releasing any asset from back in 2003 and was turned away. I couldn’t get any of the officially released stills, no on-set photography, and nothing from the really cool weigh-in that took place in Las Vegas prior to the film’s release. As a fan, this really bummed me out. There is so much good stuff archived at these studios, but they don’t give a flying fuck once the movie is out and done with. It got me thinking, “I’m never going to let this happen again,” and thus I’m hoarding high-quality imagery.

After Univeral Pictures released the newest trailer for Halloween, their direct sequel to John Carpenter‘s 1978 slasher classic, I was able to get my greedy hands on some extremely high-level photography that I immediately backed up into our database. As I was cropping for our headers – so we can keep it fresh and sexy here on Bloody – it dawned on me that I should be sharing these hero shots with everyone. The photos Universal provided were gorgeous – even when zoomed in all the way in – so I was able to crop the living shit out of them. These are perfect for your social media accounts, or even phone and computer backgrounds. Do whatever the hell you want with them, I made them for us all…
