Foreboding ‘The ToyBox’ Clip with Denise Richards [Exclusive]

Skyline Entertainment and Steel House Productions have shared an exclusive clip from Tom Nagel‘s The ToyBox in which Denise Richards (ValentineStarship Troopers, The World is Not Enough) warns of something planning to kill them all. Mischa Barton (“The O.C.”, The Sixth Sense, Ouija House, Painkillers) also stars.

The supernatural thriller follows an ill-fated family on a road trip intended to bring them back together, but the possessed RV they’re traveling in may destroy them all.

The ToyBox will open in Los Angeles at Laemmle’s NoHo 7 on September 14th for a week run.  On September 18th, the film will be available nationwide on Blu-ray, DVD and Cable and Digital HD, including Amazon Instant, iTunes, iN DEMAND, DirecTV, Comcast, Optimum, Dish, Google Play and more.

In the film:

“Jennifer (Richards) and her family go on a summer road trip in a used RV with her husband’s estranged father and brother. Along the way, they find Samantha (Barton) and her brother, broken down on the side of the highway. After driving into the middle of nowhere, the RV takes on a mind of its own, crashing and stranding them in the scorching and isolated desert. Little by little, the unsuspecting group of travelers is blindsided by the terrible secrets within the walls of the RV and find themselves fighting to survive.”

The Blu-ray and DVD releases of The ToyBox will exclusively include a feature-length commentary with director Tom Nagel, producer Jeff Miller, producer/writer/actor Jeff Denton and producer/actor Brian Nagel and a behind the scenes featurette.

‘The Mummy 4’ – ‘Obsession’ Star Michael Johnston in Talks to Join Brendan Fraser

Brendan Fraser is back for the upcoming fourth installment in The Mummy franchise from directors Radio Silence, and Michael Johnston (Obsession) is now in talks to join him.

The Hollywood Reporter lets us know tonight that Michael Johnston is in “early talks” to join The Mummy 4, which will release in theaters on October 15, 2027 via Universal.

Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and John Hannah will reprise their iconic roles as Rick O’Connell, Evelyn O’Connell, and Jonathan Carnahan in the upcoming movie.

Radio Silence duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not, Scream 5-6) are directing from a script by David Coggeshall (Orphan: First Kill).

Plot details are being kept under wraps at this time, but the brand new sequel is expected to disregard the events of the third movie, in which Rachel Weisz did not appear.

“It’s just really beautiful and scary and sweeping, and it’s awesome,” Gillet teases. Bettinelli-Olpin adds that the film “has all of the heart and the character that you could hope for.”

A remake of the classic Universal monster movie that took an action-adventure approach, The Mummy was released in 1999 and grossed $417 million worldwide. It was followed by The Mummy Returns in 2001 and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor in 2008.
