A handful of horror movies have come along in recent years that have been described as “Home Alone… but a horror movie,” most recently last year’s Better Watch Out. This Halloween season, another smart kid with a particular set of skills attempts to survive a night of horror in Knuckleball (read our review), which gets a trailer this week.

Knuckleball stars Michael Ironside (Starship Troopers, Total Recall), Munro Chambers (Turbo Kid, “Degrassi: The Next Generation”), Luca Villacis (“Channel Zero”), Kathleen Munroe (“Patriot” “Resurrection”), and Chenier Hundal (“Arrow”).

Alone, and targeted on an isolated farm, 12 year old Henry finds himself at the center of a maelstrom of terror, and a dark family legacy, when his secretive grandfather dies suddenly in the night.

The film was directed by Michael Peterson, who co-wrote the script with Kevin Cockle.

Freestyle Digital Media will release Knuckleball in theaters and On Demand / Digital HD on October 5, 2018.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has three awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
