Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga Will Be Supporting Players as the Warrens in ‘Annabelle 3’!

Published

The Conjuring Universe has made it clear by now that the Warrens, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, only star in the main films and not the spinoffs, but it’s looking like the third Annabelle film will be changing things up. Deadline breaks the news today that both Wilson and Farmiga will be starring in Gary Dauberman’s “Annabelle 3“!

The site notes that the duo will appear in a “supporting capacity” in the film, which centers on Ed and Lorraine’s daughter, being played by Mckenna Grace.

Madison Iseman also stars.

Gary Dauberman, known for his scripts for It: Chapter 1 and 2 and The Nun, wrote the screenplay and will make his directorial debut. James Wan (for Atomic Monster) and Peter Safran (for The Safran Company) are producing. Michael Clear is executive producer.

During Comic-Con’s ScareDiego event, Dauberman said of the latest Annabelle installment, “It really picks up with the Warrens bringing Annabelle to the place where it can really no longer wreak havoc, which is their artifact room. But, of course, it turns out she can also wreak havoc there.”

“It’s basically Night at the Museum with Annabelle!” added Wan at the time.

Annabelle 3 comes alive on July 3, 2019.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.

As someone who is obsessed with UFOS (or more recently known as UAPs) and the concept of extraterrestrials, I love a good documentary. Sightings have been on the rise since the 1940s, with the atomic bomb seemingly acting as a catalyst for new visitors. But what are these UFOs/UAPs? Is there an explanation or are they simply beyond our explanation? Why are they here? Who are they? How much do our governments know? The questions are endless and so are the documentaries that attempt to uncover the secrets behind decades of sightings and alleged confrontations.

Whether you’re a seasoned viewer or new to the rabbit hole, there’s always a handful of interesting documentaries to get your neurons firing and leave you with sleepless nights. SCREAMBOX is investigating with the addition of several docs, all streaming now on the Bloody Disgusting-powered service. Here’s the breakdown:
