In Joe Penna’s Arctic, “Hannibal” star Mads Mikkelsen finds himself in a situation not unlike Liam Neeson in The Grey, though he’s entirely alone in his survival-horror nightmare.
Bleecker Street is releasing the film in theaters this February, and we’ve got the trailer today.
“A man stranded in the Arctic after an airplane crash must decide whether to remain in the relative safety of his makeshift camp or to embark on a deadly trek through the unknown in hopes of making it out alive.”
Arctic had its World Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last year, and it’s been dubbed “One of the best movies ever made about survival” by Indiewire.
It’ll arrive in select theaters on February 1, and expand from there.
