I love this young cast that they’re assembling as the new Ghostbusters.
Mckenna Grace, last seen playing a young Carol Danvers in Marvel Studio’s Captain Marvel, has booked the lead role in Sony’s sequel, writes TheWrap.
She would join “Stranger Things” and IT star Finn Wolfhard and Carrie Coon (Widows).
In the canonized sequel to the original Ghostbusters films…
“A family moves back home to a small town where they learn more about who they are.”
The story centers on a single mom and her children. Grace will play the daughter, while Coon is in talks to play the mom, and Wolfhard is in talks to play her son.
Sony has slated Jason Reitman’s sequel to be released on July 20, 2020.
