Announced one year ago, ScreenDaily reports that Meander, an upcoming sci-fi horror film to be directed by France’s Mathieu Turi (Hostile), is finally set to go into production this coming August.
Sounding like a cross between SAW and Cube, the English-language film stars Berenice Marlohe (pictured; Skyfall).
“In the film, a woman wake up in a strange tube full of deadly traps. Her only option is to keep moving forward. But it is not clear how far she can get.”
Meander is being produced by Thomas Lubeau and Eric Gendarme. WTFilms will act as sales agent, reports Variety.
Turi’s post-apocalyptic, thriller debut Hostile was selected for more than 30 festivals including Sitges, Frightfest and Neuchatel, collecting more than 15 prizes.
