Officially announced earlier this year, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter will reunite in Hammerstone Studios and Orion’s Bill & Ted Face the Music. This week, two new roles have been cast, with Indiewire reporting that Samara Weaving (Mayhem) is Thea Preston, Bill’s daughter, with Brigette Lundy-Paine (“Atypical”) as Billie Logan, Ted’s daughter!
“When we saw Samara and Brigette together, it was like deja vu. It was exactly the way we felt when we first saw Keanu and Alex. We are so thrilled to have this funny and unique pair join the Bill and Ted team!” said producer Scott Kroopf in an official statement.
Weaving also starred in “Ash vs. Evil Dead” and The Babysitter, as well as Radio Silence’s Ready or Not. Her star is on the rise big time, and she should be perfect in the Bill & Ted world.
William Sadler played the Grim Reaper in 1991 sequel Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, and he’ll be reprising the role in the new film.

(Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves). Production begins this summer on the new film, directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) from a screenplay by original Bill & Ted writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
Bill & Ted will return on August 21, 2020!
