New ‘Annabelle Comes Home’ Poster is the Kind That Would Scare a Child

Just ahead of next week’s release, New Line Cinema released a winner of a final poster for Annabelle Comes Home. The art looks like a shot from the trailer sequence when young Judy in bed and the possessed doll comes sneaking up under the covers. It’s not quite as frightening as the clown sequence in Poltergeist, but I’ll be damned if this wouldn’t have fucked me up as a young child. Thanks to IMP Awards for the one-sheet.

The next film in the Conjuring Universe is headed our way next week, with Annabelle Comes Home set to unleash every evil entity that had been locked up in Ed and Lorraine Warren’s museum of haunted artifacts. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return in the Gary Dauberman-directed film, the first time they’ve played Ed and Lorraine in a Conjuring spinoff. Mckenna Grace and Madison Iseman also star.

The sixth title in The Conjuring franchise picks up with the Warrens bringing the Annabelle doll to a place where she can no longer wreak havoc: their Artifacts Room. Annabelle awakens the room’s evil which sets its sights on a new target: the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter Judy.

Annabelle Comes Home on June 26, 2019.
