Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is coming to life next month and this new featurette is selling the movie hard.
Director André Øvredal and producer Guillermo del Toro talk about ensuring that the film respects the source material and the fantastic art, while also pitching the adaptation as a horror film meets Amblin – the kind of genre movie you could take your kid to see. A group of young teens must solve the mystery surrounding sudden and macabre deaths in their small town.
“It’s 1968 in America.
