Not to be confused with the 1989 Howie Mandel film with the same title, director Abe Forsythe‘s zombie-comedy Little Monsters (read our review) was a huge hit at Sundance earlier this year, with NEON and Hulu scoring the rights shortly thereafter. We don’t yet have a U.S. date for the film, but it’ll be arriving in UK and Irish cinemas on November 15.
Ahead of the release, Altitude Films has released the Red Band trailer today, found below!
Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther, Jordan Peele’s Us), Josh Gad (Beauty and the Beast), and Alexander England (Alien: Covenant) star in the film…
“Little Monsters follows Dave (England), a washed-up musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class field trip after taking a serious liking to the fearless schoolteacher, Miss Caroline (Nyong’o). Dave’s intentions are complicated by the presence of the world’s most famous kids’ show personality and competition for Miss Caroline’s affections, Teddy McGiggle (Gad). One thing none of them bargained for, however, is a sudden zombie outbreak. Will Dave rise to the occasion and have a chance at Miss Caroline’s heart, or will the zombies get there first?”
The movie is produced by Keith and Jess Wu Calder’s Snoot Entertainment (You’re Next, The Guest, Blair Witch) and Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories.
