Blumhouse and Sony Pictures are bringing the classic TV series Fantasy Island back to life as a “horror-tinged” feature film, and the movie has received a new release date today.
Originally scheduled for February 28, 2020, it’s been bumped up to February 14, 2020.
Lucy Hale (Truth or Dare) stars with Michael Pena (End of Watch), who’ll play Mr. Roarke, the host of the enigmatic isle. From what we gather, a killer is running loose on the island.
Michael Rooker, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Austin Stowell also star.
Truth or Dare’s Jeff Wadlow is directing from a script written by Wadlow and his Truth or Dare co-scribes Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs.
