Actor Jake Abel, who played Dean and Sam’s half-brother in “Supernatural,” is the latest to join the cast of James Wan‘s untitled new horror movie for New Line, Deadline reports.

George Young and Annabelle Wallis (Annabelle, The Mummy) will also star.

The film’s working title, we’re told, is Silvercup.

Wan and Ingrid Bisu share “story by” credits, with no writer yet confirmed. The film is expected to shoot in LA this fall, with Wan and Michael Clear producing for Atomic Monster.

Plot details, at this time, are still under wraps. All we know is that it’s an original movie, not part of any existing property, and that Wan is aiming for a “hard R” rating.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
