Some really cool news on the Tomb Raider front today as we’ve learned that Ben Wheatley (Kill List, Sightseers, High-Rise) will be directing the sequel to last year’s Tomb Raider!
Deadline reports that MGM’s sequel will release on March 19, 2021.
Alicia Vikander will be reprising the role of Lara Croft.
Frequent Wheatley collaborator Amy Jump (Kill List, A Field in England, High-Rise, Free Fire) is writing the script. Production is expected to kick off early next year.
