Filmmaker Jason Krawczyk made a name for himself with his 2014-15 festival hit He Never Died, which starred Henry Rollins as Jack, a social outcast who embarks on a bloody quest to save his long-lost daughter from a crime syndicate. This year, director Audrey Cummings is putting her own spin on the premise for the female-led follow-up, titled She Never Died, which screens at the upcoming Screamfest in Los Angeles on October 10, 2019.
The new film, written by Jason Krawczyk, stars Olunike Adeliyi (Chaos Walking) as the title character, Lacey, a socially detached loner is cursed with immortality. In her attempts to keep her compulsions in check, she seeks out the darkest souls humanity has to offer.
“Lacey must now face her own inner demons while simultaneously finding her next meal.”
Bloody Disgusting was provided with a bunch of screencaps that show Adeliyi breaking free and kicking some ass.
A71 Entertainment will distribute She Never Died in Canada.
