Hulu has more than a handful of surprises set for this Halloween season, including the October 11th release of Abe Forsythe‘s zombie-comedy Little Monsters (read our review), which was a huge hit at Sundance earlier this year.
The big selling point is Us star Lupita Nyong’o slaying a horde of zombies, and oh boy do the undead look fantastic in the film. Just take a look at some in the following stills, as well as new shots of Nyong’o, Alexander England and Josh Gad.
“Little Monsters follows Dave (England), a washed-up musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class field trip after taking a serious liking to the fearless schoolteacher, Miss Caroline (Nyong’o). Dave’s intentions are complicated by the presence of the world’s most famous kids’ show personality and competition for Miss Caroline’s affections, Teddy McGiggle (Gad). One thing none of them bargained for, however, is a sudden zombie outbreak. Will Dave rise to the occasion and have a chance at Miss Caroline’s heart, or will the zombies get there first?”
The movie is produced by Keith and Jess Wu Calder’s Snoot Entertainment (You’re Next, The Guest, Blair Witch) and Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories.
