After ‘Doctor Strange’ Sequel, Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill Are Adapting a Joe Hill Horror Story!
Up next from Scott Derrickson is the horror-heavy sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness for Marvel, and the Sinister director revealed tonight that he’s making his return to rated “R” horror in the immediate wake of his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
“I’m often asked if I’ll ever return to R-rated horror. The answer is a resounding YES,” Derrickson tweeted tonight. “After Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, I’ll go straight into a horror film I’ve already written with [C. Robert Cargill].”
Cargill, who co-wrote Sinister and Doctor Strange with Derrickson, then tweeted: “Might as well also tell you that it’s an adaptation of a Joe Hill joint. Can’t wait to make it.”
“Everything else we gotta keep quiet ATM,” Cargill added.
Hill chimed in, “It’s suuuuuch a great script. [Cargill] delivered a raw, scary, beautiful thriller and I can’t wait to see it.”
Any guesses? Stay tuned for more as we learn it!

It’s suuuuuch a great script. I machine-gunned through the last 30 pages. @Massawyrm delivered a raw, scary, beautiful thriller and I can’t wait to see it, though know Cargill and Scott have to get a little STRANGE first. S’okay, it’s an open relationship, I understand. https://t.co/zzeEG3jPk7
