Focus Features announced today they will release their suspense thriller Let Him Go in theaters on August 21, 2020.
In Man of Steel, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane played husband and wife as Jonathan and Martha Kent, and they’ll be reteaming as a couple once more in the upcoming thriller.
“Following the loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Costner) and his wife Margaret (Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson. When they discover that he is in the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas, George and Margaret must fight for the survival of their family.”
The film is written and directed by Thomas Bezucha, and also stars Academy Award nominee Lesley Manville.
