Richard Stanley‘s (Hardware, Dust Devil) adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft‘s short story Color Out of Space (read our review) is nearly here and a new clip shows star Nicolas Cage as Nathan Gardner driving his sickly wife to the hospital. On the way, he nearly hits a neon-soaked demon cat that’s also been infected by whatever crash-landed in his front yard.
The film begins after a meteorite lands in the front yard of the family’s farm where they find themselves battling a mutant extraterrestrial organism as it infects their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a technicolor nightmare.
The cast also includes Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Brendan Meyer, Julian Hilliard, Elliot Knight with Q’Orianka Kilcher and Tommy Chong.
RLJE Films will be releasing the film on January 24, 2020.
