Research Reveals That Danny Trejo Has Topped Christopher Lee as the Most Killed Actor in Hollywood

Danny Trejo, in the Machete films alone, has killed a whole lot of people on screen, but have you ever wondered how many times Trejo’s characters have been killed on screen?

Well, the folks over at Buzz Bingo just did some research, crunched some numbers, and put together a fascinating Movie Mortality infographic that reveals something pretty wild.

Danny Trejo has been killed on screen more times than any other actor in history, Buzz Bingo says their research has indicated, overtaking Christopher Lee for that record!

Again, we haven’t actually crunched the numbers ourselves, it’s important to note, but Buzz Bingo tells us that Trejo has to date been killed on screen a total of 65 times.

We counted the movie deaths of the world’s top actors using IMDb and Cinemorgue,” the site lets us know. Christopher Lee isn’t very far behind Trejo with 60 on-screen deaths, and the top 10 also includes Lance Henriksen (51), Vincent Price (41), Dennis Hopper (41), Boris Karloff (41), John Hurt (39), Bela Lugosi (36), Tom Sizemore (36) and Eric Roberts (35).

Danny Trejo’s many on-screen deaths can be found in films such as Death Wish IV, Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Anaconda, Halloween (2007), Zombie Hunter and 3 from Hell.

Trejo also died in The Hidden, Bulletproof, Heat, Con Air, The Replacement Killers, Reindeer Games, xXx, Predators, Haunted High, The Book of Life and 3-Headed Shark Attack.

Buzz Bingo’s infographic also reveals which actors are the most likely to die, and which years were the deadliest in Hollywood. So be sure to head over there for the complete results.

‘The Hangman’ Trailer – A Bloodthirsty Demon Plays a Twisted Game in Dread’s Latest Original

Up next from indie director Bruce Wemple (Monstrous, Dawn of the Beast) comes The Hangman, which will release in limited theaters on May 31 before it hits VOD June 6.

In Dread’s latest horror movie, “During a camping trip from hell, a father battles a murderous cult and a bloodthirsty demon, known as The Hangman, to save his kidnapped son.”

Lindsey Dresbach, Richard Lounello, Jefferson Cox, Daniel Martin Berkey and Mar Cellus star.

Here’s the full synopsis: “To mend their troubled relationship, a middle-aged door-to-door salesman, Leon (LeJon Woods), takes his teenage son on a camping trip into deep rural Appalachia. Little do they know of the mountainous region’s sinister secrets. A local cult has summoned an evil demon born of hate and pain, known to them as The Hangman, and now the bodies have begun to pile up. Leon wakes up in the morning to discover that his son is missing.”

“To find him, Leon must face the murderous cult and the bloodthirsty monster that is The Hangman.”

Director Bruce Wemple said in a statement, “We set out to tell a story about the lengths a father will go to get his son back, including coming face to face with a bloodthirsty demon raised from hell. We can’t wait for audiences to come along for the ride.”
