After breaking onto the horror scene with Saw, director and co-creator James Wan took his talents to Universal Pictures with Dead Silence, a ventriloquist-themed horror film that’s quietly become somewhat of a cult classic.
Joining other artists sharing rare and unseen relics, Wan posted to his socials several storyboards that were drawn by Greg Chown for Wan and Universal Pictures.
“Been doing some Spring cleaning and came across the storyboards for Dead Silence,” wrote Wan. “Kinda fun to revisit the filmmaking process from back then. Since this movie is getting some love these days, I’m gonna put some up!”
The art takes us to a sequence in which Ryan Kwanten‘s Jamie takes a rowboat up to a gothic-looking derelict theater in which a ghostly ventriloquist named Mary Shaw awaits his arrival.
