The Final Destination franchise is getting set to leave the Netflix streaming service once again, as we’ve learned that all four films currently streaming will be gone next month.
You can currently find Final Destination, Final Destination 2, Final Destination 3 and The Final Destination on Netflix, but they’ll all be leaving on May 31st, 2020.
Final Destination 5, for my money the best Final Destination sequel of them all, is not currently streaming on Netflix anyway, so that one isn’t leaving in August. Because it literally can’t.
By the way, you can own all five Final Destination films for $9.99. So if you’re bummed that they’re leaving Netflix, maybe just grab that right now. And long live physical media.
Other genre films leaving Netflix in May include Carriers (May 19th), “Bitten” Season 1-3 (May 25th), and a film that’s been watched a whole lot of late, Outbreak (May 31st).
In the Wolfgang Petersen-directed Outbreak, released in 1995 and scarily relevant today for obvious reasons, “Army doctors struggle to find a cure for a deadly virus spreading throughout a California town that was brought to America by an African monkey.”
