The man behind Rubber, Keep an Eye Out and Deerskin, Quentin Dupieux is back this year with brand new movie Mandibles, which just so happens to center on an enormous fly.
The film has been described as a “wild and surreal road movie” and “an utterly unique comedy” that’s about “friendship, big dreams and bigger disasters.”
In Mandibles…
“When simple-minded friends Jean-Gab and Manu find a giant fly trapped in the boot of a car, they decide to train it in the hope of making a ton of cash.”
Ahead of its premiere at September’s Venice Film Festival, a very short teaser trailer has been uploaded online this week. The movie is set to be released in France on December 2.
