After making a name for himself in the horror world as the writer of Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later, Alex Garland went on to direct the genre films Ex Machina and Annihilation, most recently creating the FX/Hulu series “Devs.” What’s next for Garland, you ask? The site notes that “casting and financing on the project is currently underway,” suggesting that this one is indeed going to be made. Shooting may begin in Spring/Summer 2021.
