Red Band ‘Don’t Breathe 2’ Trailer Brings the Pain, but Little Gore [Video]

Published

We’re less than two weeks away from the return of the “Blind Man”, Stephen Lang‘s utterly brutal villain who is going to break more bones in Don’t Breathe 2.

In the sequel, this time directed by Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe co-writer Rodo Sayagues, the Blind Man (aka Norman Nordstrom) protects a young girl (played by Madelyn Grace) from several intruders. Little more is known about the plot.

Sony Screen Gems has released a brand new red band trailer that’s surprisingly light on the gore, but we still get to see one of the baddies get his mouth glued shut.

Interestingly, Don’t Breathe 2 is shockingly cruel and jam-packed with blood and guts. This red band trailer does not do it justice.

Thankfully, the sequel is rated R by the MPAA “for strong bloody violence, gruesome images, and language.”

We also have a trio of new images, one that gives tribute to Jason Voorhees! Oh, and the movie opens in theaters on Friday the 13th…

Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”
