As always, post-October tends to mean that the new horror releases slow down, but the good news is there’s rarely a week that goes by without some fresh new horrors to consume.

Most notably this week, Don Mancini’s “Chucky” series for SYFY and USA will be premiering a MASSIVE new episode, and some new horror movies are also on the way this week.

Here’s all the new horror to expect from November 8-14, 2021!

The week kicks off with Uncork’d Entertainment’s A Stalker in the House on Tuesday, November 9. Directed by Jared Cohn, the film is being billed as a “Fatal Attraction-esque thriller.”

Rob Zombie’s Laurie Strode, Scout Taylor-Compton stars alongside Veronika Issa, Jack Pearson, Nick Ryan, Jared Cohn, and Michael DeVorzon.

In A Stalker in the House, “Jen is single and looking to find her match with online dating. She connects with Mike, who appears handsome and charming. But some things are too good to be true, and all is not what it seems. When he becomes aggressive Jen pushes away and tries to avoid him, however Mike has other ideas.

“Obsessed, he does not intend to let Jen go so easily and now she is in a fight for her life.”

Also on Tuesday, a brand new episode of “Chucky” airs on USA and SYFY, and as mentioned up above, this is the episode where the movies collide with the show’s original storyline.

This week’s episode brings the film franchise’s original characters back into the mix, including Tiffany Valentine, Nica Pierce, Andy Barclay, and Kyle from Child’s Play 2!

In the episode, titled “Little Little Lies“…

“Jake and Devon are ready to take their relationship to the next level–but after another gruesome murder at Chucky’s far-from-idle hands, who has time for romance? Meanwhile, enemies–and allies–from Chucky’s past show up to complicate matters.”

From Gravitas Ventures, The Accursed will be released in theaters and on demand on Friday, November 12th, directed by Elizabeta Vidovic and Kathryn Michelle.

“Hana spends twenty years suppressing a maleficent curse that was placed upon her bloodline, only to have a family member knowingly release it forcing her to kill or to be killed.”

Another indie horror movie that’s on the way this Friday is Double Walker, which is slated for a limited theatrical and On Demand release on November 12, 2021.

Colin West‘s film stars Sylvie Mix as a young ghost who haunts her cold Midwestern hometown, trying to piece together the horrific flashes of memories from her past.

“One by one she kills the men she believes were responsible for her death, though her plan is derailed when she meets Jack (Jacob Rice), a kind movie theater usher who inadvertently intercepts as she’s stalking her next victim. While Jack takes her in and offers her a glimpse at a normal life, her desire to avenge her own murder lingers on.”

The final release for the week is Showtime’s new series “Yellowjackets,” which premieres on Sunday, November 14, and looks to be something of a survival thriller/horror series.

The series was created by Ashley Lyle Bart Nickerson (“Narcos”), described as being “equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama.”

Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.”

Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, and Juliette Lewis star, and the series features a pilot episode directed by Karyn Kusama (Jennifer’s Body, The Invitation).

You know the drill. Check out the trailer here.
