Scott Derrickson’s ‘The Gorge’ – Miles Teller Starring and Producing
Up next from Sinister, The Black Phone and Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson is The Gorge for Skydance, said to be an action love story with “genre-bending” elements.
Deadline reports this afternoon that Miles Teller (Top Gun: Maverick) is on board to star in The Gorge, which Derrickson is directing, and Teller is also set to executive produce.
The site’s report teases the mysterious project, “A logline is being kept under wraps, but [the film] is described as a high-action, genre-bending love story.”
Zach Dean (The Tomorrow War) wrote the script.
C. Robert Cargill (Sinister) and Sherryl Clark are on board to produce.
Blumhouse is bringing killer doll M3GAN back to the screen in M3GAN 2.0 in 2025, and Deadline reports today that Ivanna Sakhno (Let It Snow, “Ahsoka”) has signed on to star.
Ivanna Sakhno is said to have a “major role” in the upcoming sequel.
The follow-up from Universal and Blumhouse will release in theaters on May 16, 2025.
Allison Williams and Violet McGraw are back for the sequel, with Akela Cooper (Malignant, M3GAN) once again writing the script and James Wan on board to produce.

Under intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair her M3GAN prototype with Cady in an attempt to resolve both problems—a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.
