‘My Southern Family Christmas’ Trailer – Bruce Campbell Returns to Hallmark on Thanksgiving
Bruce Campbell brought his charms to the Hallmark Channel last holiday season for the original movie One December Night, and he’s back this year in My Southern Family Christmas.
My Southern Family Christmas premieres Thursday, November 24 on the Hallmark Channel.

In the upcoming Hallmark Christmas Movie, “Under the guise of a journalist, Campbell has a chance to get to know her biological father for the first time — without him ever knowing who she really is. As she spends time with him and his family, as well as with the town’s record keeper, she realizes that families are messy, wonderful things.
“In the end, Campbell must decide if she’s going to keep her identity a secret or reveal the truth to her father — a decision that will change their family Christmas forever.”
Jaicy Elliot, Ryan Rottman, Moira Kelly, and Brian McNamara also star.
Known primarily for his horror roles, Bruce Campbell is surprisingly a natural in the world of Hallmark, his charm and comic timing elevating One December Night last holiday season.

‘Drop’ – Violett Beane Joins the Cast of Christopher Landon’s New Thriller
Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.
The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.
Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.
Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”
Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.
Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.
THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
