This week has been a pretty great one for Godzilla fans, as Toho fully revealed Godzilla Minus One as their first Godzilla movie since Shin Godzilla back in 2016. We’ve gotten poster art and a teaser trailer this week, along with a full-body image of the new Godzilla design.

Hungry for more? The website Godzilla-Movies.com brings our attention to another sneak peek this morning, courtesy of the first-ever upcoming Godzilla Minus One toy!

From Tamashii’s S.H. MonsterArts line, the toy brings the new Godzilla Minus One design into your collection, and it’s going up for pre-order beginning Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Selling for approximately $100, the Godzilla Minus One toy from Tamashii is expected to begin shipping in November 2023, just in time for the release of Toho’s new movie.

The company previews, “Based on the 3D data used in the film, Yuji Sakai sculpted, colored, and produced the figure. The figure was also directly supervised by director Takashi Yamazaki to reproduce Godzilla as he appeared in the film!

“A wide range of motion allows poses appropriate for Godzilla (2023). In addition, for the first time in the S.H.MonsterArts series, the toes are independently movable. This allows you to recreate an image closer to the impression of Godzilla in the movie.”

Learn more over on Tamashii’s official website.

Godzilla Minus One first debuts in theaters over in Japan on November 3, 2023. Godzilla then returns to the big screen here in the United States on December 1, 2023.

“Set in a post-war Japan, Godzilla Minus One will once again show us a Godzilla that is a terrifying and overwhelming force,” we have been promised by Toho.

Takashi Yamazaki (Lupin III: The First) is directing the new movie, which will be the 30th live action film in Toho’s long-running kaiju franchise.

Hold the Fort Trailer

Sunrise Films has announced the official North American release of William Bagley‘s horror comedy Hold the Fort, and it’s accompanied by an energetic new trailer.

Hold the Fort debuts on digital platforms on June 23.

In the film,Lucas and Jenny think their life is finally coming together when the couple become homeowners. Little do they know that their new house comes with a big catch. Lucas and Jenny soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when they become trapped in a battle between their Homeowners Association and an onslaught of monsters from hell. The horror-comedy takes the timely concern of home-ownership and wraps this up in an entertaining action-packed thrill ride.

Watch the new trailer below, which introduces one wild HOA gathering during an equinox. Things get bloody fast.

Chris Mayers (Adult Swim Yule Log), Haley Leary (The Walking Dead), Levi Burdick, and Julian Smith star.

William Bagley writes and directs, in addition to producing with Smith, Matt Dodd, Luke Williams, and Tim Reis (Adult Swim Yule Log).

Ahead of the release, Bagley said,My goal with this film was to make a hilarious, fast-paced thrill ride while also telling a great story with heart. Hopefully, through all the blood, laughs, fights, and gags, you leave the film feeling inspired to tackle whatever life throws at you.

Hold the Fort premiered at Fantasia last summer before going on to play FrightFest London, Toronto After Dark, and Beyond Fest.

I wrote in my review,It’s an infectiously charming assemblage of jokes and monster vignettes bound together by a barebones plot with not much on its mind beyond delivering an entertaining time.
