If you’ve been unable to get out to the theater much this year, you’ll be happy to know that two of this year’s theatrical releases for the horror genre are now available at home today.

First up, Universal’s monster movie The Last Voyage of the Demeter has been released on Digital outlets today, less than one month after the film sank its teeth into the big screen.

On Digital, you can rent the film for $19.99 or purchase it for $24.99.

Directed by André Øvredal (The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark), this latest Dracula movie leaves the comedy of Renfield behind for a classic, Hammer-style horror movie at sea. The film is an adaptation of a single chapter from Bram Stoker’s classic horror novel, known as “The Captain’s Log,” which has never been adapted like this before.

Corey Hawkins (Kong: Skull Island, “The Walking Dead”) stars in The Last Voyage of the Demeter. The latest version of the script was written by Zak Olkewicz (Bullet Train).

The film is “based on a single chapter, the Captain’s Log, from Bram Stoker’s classic 1897 novel Dracula. The chapter tells the story of the Russian schooner, Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo – twenty four unmarked wooden crates – from Carpathia to London. The film will detail the strange events that befell the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a terrifying presence onboard the ship. When it finally arrived near Whitby Harbour, it was a derelict. There was no trace of the crew.”

In the wake of scaring up $66 million worldwide earlier this year, the 20th Century Studios horror movie The Boogeyman is also available on at-home Digital beginning today.

In this horror-thriller from the mind of Stephen King, two sisters — along with their therapist father — are reeling from their mother’s death. When a desperate patient comes to their home, he leaves behind a terrifying entity that feeds on its victims’ suffering.

Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”) and Chris Messina (Birds of Prey) star alongside David Dastmalchian (Dune, The Suicide Squad), Marin Ireland (Y: The Last Man, The Umbrella Academy), Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box, Mr. Corman) and Madison Hu (Voyagers).

Scott Beck & Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place) and Akela Cooper (Malignant) wrote the original drafts of the script, with Mark Heyman (Black Swan) being brought on board as well.

The original story was first published in 1973, before finding a home in Stephen King’s Night Shift collection in 1978. This film marks the first time the tale has been adapted as a feature.

And last but not least, don’t forget that the first episode of RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop is now streaming on the Bloody Disgusting-powered SCREAMBOX beginning today.
