Our collective hunger for fresh Thanksgiving Horror will hopefully be satisfied this week with the release of Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving in theaters, but what other holiday-themed horror movies can you watch to get into the spirit of Thanksgiving in the coming days?

There aren’t all that many to choose from – don’t forget the 1987 cult classic Blood Rage! – but a select few can currently be streamed on the Bloody Disgusting-powered SCREAMBOX.

Here’s all the Thanksgiving Horror now streaming on SCREAMBOX…

First up, cannibalistic pilgrims dish out gory carnage in director Erick Lorinc’s low-budget indie The Last Thanksgiving, which premiered at Salem Horror Fest back in 2020.

In the retro-style slasher, which is home to a handful of particularly nasty kills, “A family of cannibalistic pilgrims attacks a restaurant that stays open for Thanksgiving.”

Meagan wrote in her review for BD, “The Last Thanksgiving is a trashy, blood-soaked ode to ‘80s slashers, basted in self-referential in-jokes for the fellow fan.”

Also now streaming on SCREAMBOX is director Jordan Downey’s 2008 horror-comedy ThanksKilling, which has become something of a seasonal cult classic in the horror world.

In the film, “A homicidal turkey axes off college kids during Thanksgiving break.”

Natasha CordovaLance PredmoreLindsey AndersonGeneral Bastard, and Chuck Lamb star.

Jordan Downey returned to direct ThanksKilling 3 in 2012, and that film is also currently streaming on SCREAMBOX. Funny enough, there never actually was a ThanksKilling 2!

This film was humorously marketed as “the first movie to skip its own sequel.”

In ThanksKilling 3, “Fowl-mouthed villain Turkie carves through the likes of a rapping grandma, a mindless puppet, a wig-wearing inventor, a bisexual space worm, and their equally ridiculous friends on his quest to recover the last copy of ThanksKilling 2.”

Once Thanksgiving comes to an end, we’re currently streaming plenty of Christmas horrors on SCREAMBOX, including Secret Santa, Christmas Evil, and the original Black Christmas!

Ariana DeBose will play Calypso in the upcoming Kraven the Hunter movie.

Christopher Abbott (Possessor) is playing The Foreigner, with Levi Miller (Better Watch Out) also on board. Alessandro Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark) will play another villain, but character details are under wraps. Russell Crowe and Fred Hechinger also star.
