Final Destination Bloodlines

One week after scaring up the franchise’s all-time highest opening weekend, we can now report that Final Destination Bloodlines is officially the saga’s highest grossing movie!

Final Destination Bloodlines has now hit $186,707,397 at the worldwide box office, surpassing The Final Destination‘s record-setting $186,167,139 worldwide total back in 2009.

What’s most impressive here is the fact that Bloodlines has only been in theaters since May 15, with that number sure to hit a massive $200 million milestone in the coming weeks.

For the sake of comparison, here are the franchise’s total worldwide numbers:

  • Final Destination (2000) – $112.8 million
  • Final Destination 2 (2003) – $90.9 million
  • Final Destination 3 (2006) – $118.8 million
  • The Final Destination (2009) – $186.1 million
  • Final Destination 5 (2011) – $157.8 million
  • Final Destination Bloodlines (2025) – $186.7 million

Final Destination Bloodlines is also currently the second highest grossing horror movie released here in 2025, with its worldwide total only bested by Ryan Coogler’s Sinners so far.

The newest chapter in New Line Cinema’s hit franchise is said to “take audiences back to the very beginning.” In the brand new sequel, “Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.”

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has two awesome cats. Still plays with toys.

How to Watch ‘Cam’ Free Online After the Tech Thriller Left Netflix

Published

Cam streaming

Before updating the video nasty Faces of Death, director Daniel Goldhaber and writer Isa Mazzei explored the dangers of online life in tech-thriller Cam, their feature debut that was acquired by Netflix in 2018 after making waves on the festival circuit.

At the end of last year, the Netflix exclusive quietly departed from the streaming platform, left without another streaming home.

It’s not an isolated story; Mike Flanagan’s Hush also left streaming entirely for a period until it was finally picked up on both physical media and other streaming services.

While the tech-thriller currently isn’t available to watch on Netflix, Tubi, Hulu, or any other platforms, that’s not a problem for Cam thanks to a very cool move by Goldhaber: the director has made his breakout film accessible to watch online for free via his website.

As his site notes:CAM is unfortunately not currently available to view on any platforms, so you can watch it here if you like :).

No subscriptions or fees necessary, just hit play.

Cam follows Alice (Madeline Brewer), who works as an online cam girl obsessed with her ranking on the cam site. The higher her ranking goes, the more it draws unwanted attention, and Alice soon finds herself replaced on her own show with a doppelganger.

Written by Mazzei, a former camgirl, it uses the horror thriller premise to examine the life of a sex worker; Alice’s career ambition is directly at odds with the shame it brings to her family, and how she tries to spare them from it by keeping them in the dark. It only compounds her danger when the doppelganger enters the equation in Goldhaber’s engaging thriller.

For a deep dive into the treacherous world of Cam, listen to Horror Queers’ episode on it now.
