Genre favorites Jon Abrahams (Scary Movie, House of Wax), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp, Terrifier 2), and Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects, “The Walking Dead”) will star in Fractured, Variety reports.
The indie psychological thriller is slated to shoot this spring in Ohio, with Sage O’Bryant directing from a script by Eric Swinderman.
Abrahams stars as Arthur Thorne, a tightly wound man battling crippling anxiety and a traumatic past. When his therapist, Dr. Sharma (Rose), begins revealing an unsettling knowledge of his deepest fears, Arthur starts to suspect his reality is being manipulated.
As pressure mounts from his domineering boss, Pendergast (Temple), Arthur uncovers evidence that his unraveling mind may be part of a calculated experiment, driving him toward a desperate and violent confrontation.
Emelia Sherin co-stars in addition to producing with O’Bryant and Swinderman via their Anhedonia Pictures. Abrahams, Matthew James, and Shera Piper will serve as executive producers.
Abrahams can next been seen in the Scary Movie reboot — featuring a cameo from Rose — in theaters June 5.
