Ahead of its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, we have a new image of Milly Shapiro (Hereditary) in Hallowarrior.
Shapiro stars as Pumpkin, a Halloween-obsessed post-apocalypse survivor, who thinks she’s the last person alive. But when a vicious band of scavengers shows up at her doorstep on All Hallows’ Eve, Pumpkin has no choice but to tap into her deadliest survival instincts.
Ajani Russell (“Betty”), AJ Bowen (You’re Next), and Shannyn Sossamon (Sinister 2) round out the cast.
Writer-director Ben Sottak makes his feature directorial debut on the project, based on his 2021 short Scavenger.
Sottak produces alongside Gabriel Rosenstein (A Nightmare Wakes), Emmajane Hoffman, Jake Casey, and Danielle Benedict, with Sossamon and Alec Ring serving as executive producers.
Hallowarrior will premiere at Tribeca in New York City on June 10, with encore screenings on June 12 and June 13.
North American rights are being repped by Cinetic, while Architect is handling international sales.
