Adam Goldberg (Zodiac), Robin Tunney (The Craft), and Jessie T. Usher (“The Boys“) will star in the psychological thriller The Avoidant, Deadline has learned.
Ian Ousley (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”), Carmela Zumbado (“You”), Brenna D’Amico (Descendants), Joely Fisher (“Till Death”), Cedric Gegel, TJ Minor, Daria Rae Berenato (ex-WWE wrestler Sonya Deville), and Sibongile Mlambo (“Lost in Space”) round out the cast.
While plot details have not been released, the film is billed as a psychological thriller about grief, suicide, and the cost of avoiding difficult decisions.
Writer-director Rex Bressler will make his feature debut on the project, with Matt Luber (Running Scared, Evan Almighty) and Brian Yuran producing.
The Avoidant is set to begin production this month in Los Angeles.
