Let the sinning begin, because a new batch of Scary Movie posters spoof many of the genre’s biggest titles in recent memory: Sinners, Backrooms, The Substance, Smile, Ma, Get Out, Nope, and Weapons.
We also have a finger-lickin’-good look at Chris Elliott as Longlegs in a brief video to celebrate tickets being on sale now.
The sixth installment in the horror parody franchise hits theaters — including 4DX, Dolby Cinema, and premium large formats — on June 5 from Paramount.
Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite to slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final.
Franchise favorites Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Jon Abrahams, and Elliot are also back for the legacy sequel.
The ensemble includes Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, Kenan Thompson, and Felissa Rose.
Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs from a script by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
Scary Movie launched in 2000, followed by Scary Movie 2 in 2001. The Wayans’ involvement ended there, but the series continued with 2003’s Scary Movie 3, 2006’s Scary Movie 4, and 2013’s Scary Movie 5.
