One of the most interesting and truly singular filmmakers working in the genre space today, Jane Schoenbrun (I Saw the TV Glow) is back this summer with slasher Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, which is being billed as “a new kind of horror remake.”
It’s not actually a remake of an existing movie, of course, but rather a brand new original vision that kicks off when a filmmaker is hired to direct a remake of a classic slasher movie.
