Inde Navarrette is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood in the wake of her incredible performance in Curry Barker’s Obsession, generating both Oscar buzz and big time offers. Navarrette is rumored to have been offered a role in Michael Mann’s Heat 2 and she’s confirmed to play Rogue in Marvel’s new X-Men movie, and her career possibilities are endless at the moment.
But while we wait to see Inde Navarrette’s next moves in Hollywood, she’s actually already wrapped on an upcoming horror movie that we’re awaiting releasing information on. In post-production according to the film’s IMDb page, Navarrette will follow up Obsession with Invertigo.
An upcoming survival thriller from Fall and Obsession producers Capstone Pictures and Tea Shop, Invertigo will trap a group of teenagers high above the ground on a roller coaster!
Invertigo follows a group of reckless teens who convince a young park worker to sneak them onto a roller coaster before its debut opening. A system failure traps them hundreds of feet in the air, forcing them to fight for survival as buried traumas and hidden tensions erupt into chaos.
Matthias Hoene (Cockneys vs Zombies) directs from a script by Kathy Charles (Jakob’s Wife) and Billy O’Brien (I Am Not a Serial Killer), with Inde Navarrette starring alongside Conor Sánchez, Tom Lewis, Ceara Coveney, Victoria Broom, Eoin O’Brien, Aidan Bristow, Dylan Ennis, Jordon Shinn, Christopher Evangelou, Alexandra Bartlett, Charlie Di Stefano, David Samartin, and Matteo Piombino.
“Invertigo is a film about fear — both the immediate, visceral kind and the deeper fears we carry with us,” Matthias Hoene had explained when the film was first announced. “Setting the story high above the ground allowed us to push the tension to an extreme, but it’s the emotional pressure between these characters that truly drives the film. Inde brings an incredible intensity and vulnerability to the role, and I’m thrilled to begin this journey with such a talented cast and crew.”
At this time we haven’t gotten a first look at Invertigo and we have no idea when it’s set to be released, but it’s safe to say that the team will likely be looking to get it out as soon as possible.
