Wes Studi (Avatar: Fire and Ash, Deep Rising) and Dane DiLiegro (Prey) are the latest additions to Amazon MGM Studios’ horror movie Seasons, Deadline reports today.
They join previously announced cast members Jack Reynor (Midsommar), Lily James (Swiped), Ron Perlman (“Cape Fear”), and Elizabeth McGovern (“Talamasca”).
This project was originally announced under the title My Wife and I Bought a Ranch in 2020, based on the viral horror short story by Matt & Harrison Query that first appeared on Reddit. It’s since shifted from Netflix to Amazon MGM Studios.
The story follows Harry and Sasha, who think they’ve found their dream house in a ranch in Idaho. He’s a Marine getting back to life, so they bid what they can. Their lowball offer wins them the ranch, but they find they are not alone.
The land is alive with ancient spirits. For the couple, survival will mean submitting to increasingly disturbing rituals with each turn of the season.

Dane DiLiegro’s credits also include V/H/S/Beyond, Imaginary, and the upcoming horror movie River set to premiere at TIFF.
