Drew Hancock (Companion) is back in the director’s chair for the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios horror movie Seasons, and we now have a theatrical release date for the project.
Seasons will release in theaters November 12, 2027.
Jack Reynor (Midsommar) and Lily James (Swiped) star in Drew Hancock’s Seasons, with the cast also including Ron Perlman (“Cape Fear”), Elizabeth McGovern (“Talamasca”), Wes Studi (Avatar: Fire and Ash, Deep Rising) and Dane DiLiegro (Prey).
This project was originally announced under the title My Wife and I Bought a Ranch in 2020, based on the viral horror story by Matt & Harrison Query that first appeared on Reddit.
The story for Seasons follows Harry and Sasha, who think they’ve found their dream house in a ranch in Idaho. He’s a Marine getting back to life, so they bid what they can. Their lowball offer wins them the ranch, but they find they are not alone.
The land is alive with ancient spirits. For the couple, survival will mean submitting to increasingly disturbing rituals with each turn of the season.
