Tommy Wiseau’s ‘Big Shark’ Finally Swims Onto Streaming This Week

Big Shark Tubi

Oh hi, shark. Originally announced back in 2019, cult filmmaker Tommy Wiseau’s second feature, Big Shark, is finally headed to streaming this week.

Tommy Wiseau revealed via YouTube that his shark attack film will be available on Tubi as of Friday, September 4.

The official plot synopsis previews, “Three firefighters – George, Patrick & Tim – must save New Orleans from a gigantic shark. Can New Orleans survive?”

In addition to writing, directing, and producing, Wiseau stars alongside Isaiah LaBorde and Mark Valeriano. They play firefighters tasked with saving New Orleans from a gigantic shark. As Wiseau notes in the announcement video below, Big Shark was shot on location in New Orleans.

Big Shark is rated PG-13 for “bloody creature violence and some strong language.” If that’s too intense, Wiseau also wrote a Big Shark children’s book. Illustrated by Matt Hebb, it’s available now for $19.99.

The shark attack film initially began its theatrical rollout in 2023, and even continued last year. Now, after a long journey, it finally heads home to streaming.

Big Shark will be joined by Wiseau’s cult phenom The Room on Tubi.
