“Cape Fear” actor Lily Collias has been set to star in Ignore It, the feature adaptation of the viral horror short from YouTube horror star Sam Evenson, Variety reports today.
Evenson, behind the hugely popular Grimoire Horror channel, has teamed up with Smile producers Temple Hill Entertainment and Anton. The creature feature will mark Evenson’s feature directorial debut.
The horror film will follow “a family who fights to survive living with a terrifying entity known only as ‘The Woman,’ who will kill you if you acknowledge her.”
The one important rule for survival, as the film’s title lays bare? Ignore it.
Watch the near 7-minute short below that released on YouTube in 2021, based on the viral r/NoSleep Reddit story, “You’re Going to Notice a Woman in Your Home, You Must Ignore Her,” by Jeff Speziale.
Speziale and Evenson are now collaborating to expand the original premise and shape the story for a feature length film; Evenson will write and direct the feature.
Evenson is also a VFX artist, whose credits include Dune: Part Two and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Also on the way from Evenson is an adaptation of his viral horror short MORA with NEON, though Ignore It will head into production first.
