‘Capturing Bigfoot’ Trailer – New Documentary Promises to Change the Bigfoot Game Forever

In 1967, fifty-nine seconds of footage was captured in Northern California, and it became the single most infamous piece of cryptozoological footage in the history of the field. We’re of course referring to the famous Patterson-Gimlin footage, which allegedly captures a real-life Bigfoot in the wild. But is it legit? Completely fake? We may finally have those answers.

Available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and in select theaters beginning October 20 is the brand new documentary Capturing Bigfoot, and it’s promising to be a game-changer.

October 20, we must note, is National Bigfoot Day. And there’s a reason for that…

On October 20, 1967, Roger Patterson captured 60 seconds of film showing a creature walking through the Northern California woods – footage that became the most analyzed and debated in history. Fifty-seven years later, a reel of 16mm film discovered in a safe changes everything.

Director Marq Evans’s Capturing Bigfoot reveals the untold story behind the world’s greatest mystery, told for the first time by Patterson’s own son and the people who were there.

The filmmakers preview, “This is a story about family, legacy, broken friendships, and belief itself.”
